This is my wekiwa tangelo tree. I really like the fruit. It is about 2 1/2 inches where I cut it off, actually my biggest tree at about 12 feed until I cut it. I'm leaving the limbs below the 3 foot high graft wekiwa. Rootstock is swingle. The bark grafts are for panzarella giant orange, the one bigger than a grapefruit. http://members.fortunecity.com/pjsauber/Panzarella.htm http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/propagation/inlay/inlay.html After I cut the trunk off I found a still good fruit! I'd picked the rest around December 1. Holds very good on the tree. I'm also going to graft a few limbs of another tree with the panzarella giant lemon.
I wrap the scion in parafilm and wrap the cut off stump with it as well. I fasten the scion to the trunk with a small nail. I wrap the trunk as well with vinyl budding tape.

Last of all I cover with aluminum foil to prevent sunburn
