yes very interesting, I found someone who implemented skarias idea large scale. He said he grafts seedlings that are about 6 inches tall!!!! And he sells the grafted trees once they grow out about 4 inches for 3 bucks. I will visit and take pics of his plants tommorrow and if I lime what I see I'll buy tons of trees lol.

Treesource in California has been doing this for years. I have a friend in the nursery business that buys thousands of these each year.

Daurty has been doing it for years also, Last Sept I was at our IPPS conference is San Diego, just about all propagators are into it or at least tissue culture. A few are splicing genes (tissue cells) from tissue before moving into Harding off..
