Since I don't drink soda pop in 2 liter pop bottles, I don't have a ready supply of these to use for little mini-greenhouses. Does anyone have any idea where I might find used ones I could snag, or some equivalent? They sure work well in keeping grafted citrus moist. Thanks _________________ Patty S.

Do you have a small local redemption center you can go to and buy some from? One guy I know gets a specific wine bottle he uses for test batches of hard cider that way. |

Have you checked your local recycling center. At mine there are literally hundreds, I would have to jump in and get them though |

I use zip lock bags. Cheap and easy to store. _________________ Hershell

Brilliant. Much, much easier, and I've already got a huge stash of them. Thanks, Hershell!! _________________ Patty S.

Hah! That was Patty in disguise as a man, going through people's trash, looking for pop bottles. On her bike no less. Truly frightening that Laaz has his camcorder available at any given moment, lol!! _________________ Patty S.

Hi Patty,
How are your seedlings coming along? My key limes are still alive and look very healthy. I'll transplant them this spring. They're growing like crazy. I also have other news that other people in this house do not seem to be that excited about I have a lemon grown from seed that will 7 years old this summer. It started flushing new leaves about 2 weeks ago. Today I was checking it for mites and that's when I saw the small little blossoms starting. I think my family thought I had won the lottery because I got so excited I had to share that on this forum as I have a feeling someone out there will understand the joy of seeing blossom buds on a citrus tree from seed.
