Looking for Sour Orange Seed to produce rootstock. Sour Orange makes one of the very best rootstocks. Tristeza Virus is no problem as I live in Colorado therefore, I do not have to worry about Sour Orange's susceptibility to Tristeza virus. - Millet

Hi,

I don't know if you are looking for a specific type of sour orange, but I have a small Seville orange that has a few fruit starting to color up (first from this tree) and I don't have plans for all of them. There are just few, but if you could use some please let me know. (I am assuming that they will be seedy--never have seen a fresh one.)

Also, I have a couple of Chinotto oranges that will have fruit, but I suspect they won't be ready for a while--about olive-sized now. If you'd like some of those in a few months, you are also welcome.

BTW this is a great forum.

Millet,
I have quite a few sour orange seeds, seville, that were harvested from fruit from the store at the end of January and then sertilized with ~120 degrees F for 10 mins then dried out for two days; Let me know how many you'd like as I have quite a few to spare. although I don't know what the germination rate on them is as I started them on the 27th of January. Your adress will also be needed so I can send them as well as any recomendations on a good method to send them to make sure you get them in good shape,
Sincerely,
James.
