I have been seeing lots of honey bees this spring thanks to the 10 hives that a neighbor of mine put in about a 1/2 mile away! I am sure that raising bees in the city is difficult due to use of pesticides by some homeowners, but I will be very careful to avoid any spray that would harm bees.
