1.According to the Association of Moroccan exporters of citrus fruit ( ASPAM ), Morocco plans to triple its exports to Russia by 2018.
Russia has become the no.1 buyer of Moroccan citruses , absorbing as much as 60 % of the export; North America market share between 10 and 15% , and the European Union 30%. In 2012/13 Morocco has shipped nearly 200,000 tons of mandarins to Russia.

2. China has asked the United States to authorizing the entry of fresh citrus in to the continental territory of the country. The Service of the U.S. animal and plant health inspection (APHIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has prepared a draft risk analysis for this authorization request, which will be available until March 24, 2014 for review and comment by interested parties .
