I thought I would go digging today in a pot and see how my tangelo seeds were coming along (I know, impatient). They should sprout by about now. Needless to say I never found any seeds. I don't really know how this happened? I even mark on the side of the pot where the seeds are placed in the pot. Either I was drunk and never put anything in the pot, or there's a gnome around steeling things away Shocked

I am wondering whether I should go digging in all of my pots haha? I swear there isn't any alcohol around Wink...

Maybe they shifted when you watered?

Even being a loyal under-waterer and having punched a good 40 little drainage holes in the bottom of the pot? Sheesh...

Well, it depends on several factors, such as what condition were the seeds in before planting and how much and how often did you irrigate the newly planted seeds?!
I doubt anything else but the seed rot could be the cause. Otherwise it could definitely indicate the presence of alcohol, lol... Laughing

Well I soak the seeds at least one day. Remove that outer shell. Put them in moistened seed starting medium in plastic pots. Temp 75-80 F. Probably water every 3 days? The pots are see through, so I can see when they dry out, check the weight of the pot.

If anything I feel like I let them dry out too much.

And no, I only drink wine, which I usually save for cooking with.

I planted a lot of seeds that day. Suppose I could have just filled a pot with dirt and not realized it haha.
