Joe, reading the above Ghana post, I quickly noticed the name Robert Kruger who is a genetic researcher at UCR. Actually, Robert Kruger is more than just a researcher, he is also the department head of the CCPP (Citrus Clonal Protection Program). He was very gracious to Citrus Joe and I when we visited UCR last year, spending fully one half of a day as our tour guide showing us all through the Citrus Variety Collection, The Citrus Clonal Protection Department, and the Screen House where the trees are grown for UCR's budwood program. He is highly educated, holds a prestigious position at the University of Riverside, yet is very appreciative of anyone involved in citrus no matter at what level. I was amazed at the amount of time he allocated to our visit making it a very special experience. Millet
