Hi all, and hope you had a great Fourth!

I have some bags of a product called "dry stall" here's a link to a website that has some info:
http://www.drystall.com/faq.html
Dry stall was touted by the seller as being a great addition to cactus potting soil, and I was wondering how it would be with citrus.
It seems very similar to perlite, but a little more dense- maybe somewhere between perlite and pumice.
It's pretty small sized.

Another thing I was thinking of to lighten my potting mixture is pine bark mulch- it is mostly small pieces but there are some fibers as well.

Just looking for everybody's two cents, I guess!
Thank you,
Susan

The seller of Dry Stall does not say what the chemical actually is, but I bet that Dry Stall is actually Diatomaceous Earth. It might work well in a citrus growth medium. but one would have to run some experimental plantings to determine its value. It would be worth a try. - Millet
