Ok, the trees have been wrapped up in lights for about a week now, but nothing hudge in improvement other than the soil is almost ready for another watering. I tried looking, but I can't find a soil thermometer, so I tried using a normal oral thermometer. I put it in the soil, but it doesn't seem to read temperatures low enough for me, it stays stuck at "LOW". I tried it on myself to verify that it works, and it does, any ideas? I will try putting the humidifier back in the room.

I use a thermometer I got a a department store in the kitchen section--it was called a Chef's thermometer and has a range of 20 F to about 120 F.
