Rind is bumpy, yellow with random spots and patches of green, even when ripe. Definitely tastes like a lemon, though with a mild flavor, sizes vary. Loose rind that peeled in seconds. I can't figure out how to post a larger pic, but I can say the entire tree is covered with similar fruit. Is this an actual variety, or a random mutation? I personally think they're fantastic-looking, and it went quite well with a gin and tonic last night.

Nope, this tree is in Pasadena, CA; about as dry as it gets, short of the desert.

If the new photo is typical, it looks like a regular lemon variety. Not sure about the green spots, they each seem to be coming from one skin pore.
I wonder if any insect would cause that?
