C-35 Citrange

So how does this popular rootstock compare with others?

Thanks for the new rootstock forums, these will be really helpful.

C35 is really popular in our city for the last 6-7 years. Many nurseries started to grow C35 instead of sour orange.

No scientific results but we have our own experience. We have Dobashi Beni Satsuma Mandarins both on C35 rootstock and sour orange.
After 4 years it is really obvious that C35 rootstocks develop much bigger and hardy fruits.

Best,

This year, again, C35 rootstock dobashi beni mandarins are much bigger and better than sour orange rootstock dobashi beni mandarins.

Btw, this year we had 42 fruits from our one and only fruit bearing C35 tree.
There are almost 30 trees, we are expecting fruit next year from rest of the trees.
