My sister called the other day from California. She lives outside Camino, where they had 15 inches of snow on the ground. She said she had harvested her first Page orange, which she has in a pot. I asked her how large was it, about the size of a quarter? She said to look at the photo of it. Here is the pic of it

Good for your sister. Next year her tree should produce more fruit. On larger size Page Mandarin trees, the size of the fruit can be increased by thinning the number of fruit to one fruit for every 3-4 of its closest leaves. - Millet (693-)

Right, I understood that your sister's tree only produced the single fruit. My comment on obtaining larger Page mandarins was only pertaining to larger trees that are capable of producing a large quaintly of fruit. A reason that thinning to one fruit per the three closest leaves, is because a citrus fruit obtains almost it entire energy/nourishment for its development from the three closest leaves to the fruit. Therefore if two or three fruit have set together, then all three fruit share the nourishment from the same 3 leaves, and therefore do not develop maximum possible size. - Millet )639-)
