I bought my copy from the author when he was still alive. After having it for several years I sold it to a forum member.
It describes lots of trifoliate crosses, none of which are edible IMHO and I have tasted most of them. It also describes some unique to Houston area citrus selections like Dr Atlas koa mandarin. Bell mandarin and ujukitsu sweet lemon. It describes many if not most of the mandarins available in the Houston area.
In short there are other books available that better describe edible citrus varieties.
I recommend "Ambrosia from your Backyard" published by Texas A&M Extension office. Also included is a writeup on Bonnie Childers, Sam Powers, and Terry Cuclis noted citrus growers of the Houston area.

Here are two pages as an example:
Also available is "Our Edible Landscape" by Sam and Virginia Powers of Santa Fe, TX. Not much on citrus but lots on other fruits you can grow in the Houston area. They are a very nice couple I visited several times. Sam died a few years ago. Sam got me started with jujube suckers I dug up in his yard and several sticks of budwood of several varieties. I don't share his enthusiasm for jujubes and only have one tree left that is a root sucker in my front flower bed I never bothered to pull up.
