Made a stop to Superior Growers Supplies. They showed me some Citrus Fertilizer 4lb bag 4-6-8 diddn't know if it was any good. I'm curious to see how well 3 gallon Superoots Air-Pots i purchased work. Potted up Eureaka Lemon and Blood Orange. Also bought a bale of some PRO-MIX BX potting soil, wow, excellent quality, best potting mix i ever bought. Did a cedar mulch potting soil mixture. It will be interesting to see how quickly the soil drys out. Waiting for April to purchace Kumquat through Harris Citrus, i will be putting Kumquat in Superoots Air-Pot, i have 1 pot left. Smile

Promix will dry out pretty quick, it is intended to be used as a hydroponic medium. The air-pots are great, I highly recomend them, only drawback is the largest size you can get is around 10 gallon.

If you purchase Air Root Pruning containers from Root Maker, which I do, you can get air pots all the way up to 250 gallons. - Millet

Plantcrazy the Citrus Fertilizer in the 4lb bag with the formula 4-6-8 would only have value on an outdoor tree (even then it would not be my first choice). It would be just about enough to make one application on a large in ground citrus tree. The fertilizer would not be a good fertilizer for a container tree. - Millet
