When applying Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) remember that it is quite soluble and should only be expected to provide nutrients for two weeks to a month. The same for calcium sulfate. - Millet

Oh man, Millet, I have your calcium nitrate that I just added to final soaking of big batches of CHC (1 tsp per gal water), but what is calcium sulfate again? Embarassed sorry Rolling Eyes
I'm repotting now & will write more about it in "Anything" or "Container" forum. What a job!!

gypsum. These are properly called Calcium Sulfate Hydrate.
