Report :

I was on the Guided Tour and may have missed all the good stuff ...

I did not buy anything then ...

One stand had good stuff :
Orange tree Washington, Vaniglia aspereno and no name orange.
Blood Orange Moro and Tarocco.
Lemon no name.
All 28 Euro.
Variegated lemon and key/Mexican Lime for 39 Euro.

Famous german breeder VOSS was here and had some rarities, at all winter hardy hybrids.

like 10 cm tiny plants for 32 Euro and less than 20 cm tall 39 Euro.
I will never buy at such a price.
At all for the graft are very WACKY and the scions weak and bad developed.

The guided tour was just a waste of time :
That guy was NOT the boss of the Citrus department as promised, but just a youngster gardener who just talked BULLSHIT !

Like : Citrus cannot be grown from seeds, they always will die or even if survive absolute inedible, but NEVER true ...
Also layering will never work and it is impossible to propagate cuts/plugs ...

Citrus plants from Italy never must be buyed for they have the citrus bug in it ...

...and of course almost all cutrus plants that were sold there were from Italy ...

Well, I had a private talk with the head of the citrus departed later on then ...

Later at afternoon was also the possibility to taste of the fruits, but I went home after watching the trees alone, for I know the taste of them for long.

I thought I will to go there tomorrow, but after those words, I changed my mind, it looks like waste of time, better for me, to order some trees from Tintori - nice plants for 25 euro.
