Hi,

This is the rootstock Citrange Rusk from Hershell. I grafted Cirange Morton on the Citrange Rusk. And from the top of Rusk grow interesting branches. Is it variegated Rusk? What should I do now? I cut off the top where it was green leaves. I hope that the next branches will be variegata.

Interesting!
If I understand correctly the rootstock was Rusk - and presumably it did not show any signs of variegation before you used it? It looks a fairly strong rootstock - so the original foliage was plentiful and normal green?
I don't use cleft grafting very often, so I don't have much experience here, but I don't recall ever seeing multiple growth like that from a young rootstock. Normally, new growth is only from a node on young seedlings. Although older plants will regrow new shoots from callus produced from major pruning.
So, is it possible that in this case the grafting has in some way induced variegated growth from the rootstock???
As I said, very interesting!
Look forward to some more pictures.

Yes, you understand correctly. The rootstock was standard Rusk seedlings, with normal green leaves as another Rusk rootstock.

I suppose so. Grafting was reason and this that shoots was under foil/film.

And new photos (02.02.2012).
