Houston Plant and Garden World not to be confused with Houston Garden Centers also has a 70% off sale. I picked up a 5 foot tall Jaboticaba for $13.50. They also had 30 gallon guavas for $30 dollars (I had no room to put one in the truck). I addition, there were huge budda's hand citrons in 3 to 5 gallon pots also 70% off. The location is I 45 North at FM 1960. Yadda out.

C'mon!!! A 5' tall jaboticaba for $13.50??!! We need picks of this man! How full is the plant? Trunk size? Did they say how old it was? Wow! I've heard of people paying upwards of $150+ for a plant of that size. Makes me almost want to head down there myself and get one. That'd be a long drive from Ohio for a plant!

I will try to take a picture this weekend and post it. The trunk caliper is probably 3/4 to 1 inch (just guessing, because I'm at work), I was really surprised at the price myself. These trees were selling for around 50 dollars in the spring. As for age? Who knows, but the bark is beginning to mottle slightly. Yadda out.
