I have a bunch of seedlings of various kinds that were planted a few weeks ago. They were put outside in the shade this week for the first time. There was some very heavy rains and Citrus taiwanica and TaiTri seem to be especially hard hit with a water soaking then wilting of the leaves and stems. That suggests a bacterial disease. It may kill most of them. Other varieties seem to have no problems and some just a few, but it could be the location and exposure causing the different reactions. I used Ortho Max Garden Disease Control on everything yesterday. Today the water soaked areas have turned tan, but it could still be spreading into healthy areas. I can't tell if the spray is working yet or just the drying conditions are helping controlling the problem.
Any suggestions for more control of this problem?
Thanks
Alan
