Has anyone been to this event before? Are there any citrus for sale there?

I think Ned has, several times. If Ned does not see this thread you can send him a private message. Ned also has a citrus nursery near by, where you could purchase many different citrus varieties. - Millet (672-)

I won't be a vendor at the Bamboo Farm's spring sale this year, I will be at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden "Springtime at the Garden" Festival". I won't have citrus at Riverbanks, but Stan McKenzie will be there too, and I am sure Stan will have citrus.

There may be vendors with citrus at the Bamboo Farm, I know there are nurseries near there that carry citrus trees.

The festival was not what I thought it would be. There were very few plant vendors there. I was glad I went just to see the gardens. Anyone who lives close to Savannah should go by there for a couple hours. They have some amazing gardens.
They also have some old neglected citrus trees that were planted for research years ago. A friend of mine, Jim Fountain, has taken over as Superintendent of the place and started cleaning up the small citrus grove. I think most of the trees that are still alive are Changshas. I also saw an Ichang and a desert lime that were probably used for rootstock to begin with. There is one tree, most likely a Changsha, that is thriving even with all the neglect. It would be a good source of bud wood for someone who wants something low maintenance. I'll have to find out from Jim what rootstock it is on.
