I will be in NC fishing for a week, so I hope my seedlings can make it for a week without attention. I am sure the leaf miners will have a field day or 2 Mad

I am worried that some will dry out in that period of time as hot as it has been, but I don't want to put them where they will get sprinkler water every day either-- maybe we will get lucky and get some rain. Very Happy

Oh man! Wish I could go fishing over there. But I'm a poor man with hand to mouth existence for the moment. I'll try to sneak out of work next week and try my hands on them Donaldson Cuttbows trout!

Skeeter, you need a seedling sitter!!!! I am going to need one for a few days at the end of the month, but I am thinking I will bring them indooors so I don't have to worry about them frying. Things are starting out here "HOT", yesterday it was cold in the morning and then things escalated and it got to be 92, today they are saying 90 and then tomorrow only 67 and Wed. night down to 44 and upper 70's by weeks end so....may just toss a blanket on the exposed stuff! I lost several due to drying-- no rain while I was gone. I even planted the pots in the ground and put shade cloth over the top--Oh well--they were just small seedlings-- most of the bigger ones did just fine.
