Is anyone else getting posts either at the beginning of a thread or before recent legitimate posts from "Ads" showing a video link to YouTube? Or did I catch some kind of virus?

Thanks, Laaz. At least I know that it is not something I picked up on my computer. It is a bit annoying, but I'm sure it can be overlooked with a little practice.

Personally I'm allergic to internet ads. They're often annoying and too distracting. A good ad blocker can help here.
On my screen the 'Ads'- messages show up as empty boxes. I use Firefox as browser combined with the Adblock Plus extension. This keeps my screen ad free!

Using a good filter list with adblock eliminates nearly all ads (I don't see any), but the advantage of using a modified hosts file is that it effects all applications that access the internet, not just Firefox.
