Hi all,
I just wanted to let everyone know that Four Winds Growers has added a number of new varieties to their online availability. Check out http://www.fourwindsgrowers.com/variety_list.html
Four Winds is also going to begin a custom grafting program for next season.
We can graft anything available from the CCPP and send you a one year old tree once the grafts have healed and the plants are fully rooted. Contact Aaron Dillon @ specialorders@fourwindsgrowers.com for more information. _________________ Aaron D. |

Sometimes I feel the same, Dave. When I can't get the cultivars from the other states, simply because we, hobbyists, are not allowed to import any citruses other than the seeds. there are many citrus cultivars outside of the UCR CCPP budwood program that I'd like to try because of their cold hardiness and good taste. |

We can't even import seeds anymore in Florida! At least I can drive across the border to Alabama and play with my sisters trees and help her pick some fruit. Vicki probably has a couple hundred pounds on her Owari satsuma trees this yr. _________________ Skeet

I sent Aaron an E-mail yesterday, asking three questions, concerning the placement of a future order that requires a little custom attention. I received a reply the very next business day. I have purchased a few trees from them in the past, and have always been highly satisfied with their product. Four Wind Growers have done much for the citrus industry, and the hobby citrus industry in particular. I am glad to see them getting into citrus varieties which have in the past been difficult to locate . Welcome Four Wind Growers (delnorte) to our forum. We are excited and happy to have you as a member. |
