We have been using green Calamondin fruits as deodorizer for ages in the Philippines. With or without disposer. Just crush the fruits in your hands and rub all over the hands. Also add to rags and wipe all over. Here's the one for most of the world, and you can use the whole unripe green calamondins for greater effectivity:

Joe I've been doing this with my kumquats for the last few years. It really helps keep the sink smelling clean. Fortunately I have kumquat tree that produces 100's of fruit so there's plenty extra after eating my fill.

I will toss 5-6 kumquats into the disposal, no water running, and just pulse the disposal a few times . This leaves the fruit pieces and juices in the disposal and really makes a difference.
