I was quite surprised to notice in the last few days that the Daffodils are blooming in my yard here in the Georgia mountains.
I generally see these at the end of February.
Its been the mildest winter that I can remember. I'm not complaining!

Here in NC my blueberries have started blooming- normally they bloom in March!, very mild winter. Last years winter was rather harsh, so maybe this is the natural balance. I am beginning to worry we might get a mid Feb blizzard or something weird.
