What a great group of people we have here...we are truly blessed!
A few days ago, I got a PM from Selkirk telling me he had a citrus "gift" for me. Today, a 48LB box appeared at my door filled with a dozen or more varieties of citrus! pages, Cara Cara, kishu, satsuma, Henderson and golden grapefruit, okitsu-wase and fairchild mandarin and several others!
I was floored. As some of you may know, I am growing several of these varieties up here in Minnesota that I have never tasted. That has all changed now!
Thanks Selkirk for the wonderful gift...it is very truly appreciated. you're a heck of a nice guy and a credit to our forum Very Happy .

Great to hear Al. That's what makes this place stand out.

Big Al. How about listing in numerical order how you favor the taste of the citrus that Seldirk sent you. - Millet (369 ABO-)

Funny you should mention it Millet, I was just doing that. I can only taste so many before my palate gets trashed, and I want to savor each variety, so this will take a few days Smile
I must also add, that is is seeming to me that different microclimates radically affect fruit taste/complexity...
There is no blood orange variety here, none in the stores this year either, so I will wait till I come across one to taste..I know some of you are very passionate about the tasle of those bloods!
Having said that...
