How come there are no purple flower buds? Is it typical for this kind of lemon, or is it because of environmental circumstances?

Many lemons do not have red blooms. On another note, many of my lemons and citrons will flush a red / purple color in the cool months. Once the temps stay above 80F, they flush normal green...

Yes it is a lemon Femminello. Zagara Bianca has white flowers. Accordingly, the name
