I have been trying to get seeds from fruit that i obtained from local markets and have so far without success been able to get any seeds. I am willing to pay for postage or even a small amount for seeds that anyone can send me. send me a pm if you can help me out.

If you are looking for seeds of the Persian (Bearss) lime, you wont find any as they are seedless. You will need to get budwood or a rooted or grafted tree.

Key limes do have seed & come true. You can find Key limes in most stores sold in a mesh bag of 10 - 15 limes. wal-mart has them all the time, as does Publix.

i have been trying for key or mexican limes. We do not have publix here in the cleveland area, and our walmart only sells single limes not in mesh bags. I tried some of these single limes at walmart as well and they too failed to have seeds.

I cut my tree way back this spring so I doubt I will have any fruit this year... I would think most any good supermarket should be able to order you a bag though.

Walmart has their key lime bags in the back by the leafy vegetables (kale, collard, celery, etc). They're not out with the other fruit.
Hope that helps!
