I'm sorry if you think I shouldn't be posting this, but I just wanted to share. I should clarify that I'm not advertising this nursery (especially because you can't purchase them in the USA (which most members in here are from) only Europe).
SO, for about 5 years I had been seeing those beautiful Calamondin trees with dark green, shiny leaves, and many many fruits. They always had that bright label. Turned out that they're grown in Portugal. The nursery is called Viveiros Foral (
here's their website). They are in business since about the seventies, and they claim to grow about 800 000 dwarf citrus plants a year.
Oh, I wish, when I decided to obtain a Calamondin tree, the store had these Portuguese trees, instead of the Dutch ones I purchased... Here's some photos I found on the Internet. I don't know how anyone could resist such tree
