I was extremely happy to obtain some budwoods of Variegated Valencia during the past gloomy weeks of my life, and it sure helped a bit. I gave some buds to Benny too.

So far all my T-buds of Variegated Valencias they are alive after T-budding. They were surely added unto my now 80-n-1 citrus tree. Five more days and I will know if they will make it.

I have T-budded the variegated Valencia unto MidKnight, Vainiglia Sanguigno, Summer Valencia, Miho Wase Satsuma (on 80-n-1 citrus tree).

The Variegated Valencia came with variegated fruits (although predominantly orange colored, but the stripes are still distinct), and it is indeed very sweet and the friend told me that it keeps very well on the tree, and produces good fruit even in cool climates.

Now that should cheer me up. Here's hoping that all the T-buds took.

So far, I only have Variegated citrus cultivars of:
Calamondin
Cara Cara Navel (shared some with Laaz)
Centennial Kumquat (shared with many)
Pink Lemon (shared with many)
Sour Orange (shared with Valentino)
Bergamot (shared with Valentino)
Valencia (shared some with Benny).

One of these days, I am going to assemble myself a multi-grafted Variegated citrus collection in one tree. I need to start off with a variegated rootstock. But that would be far into the future. I still need to recover.
