You really don't need a wrap, just make sure the soil is moist. If you leave it on, I would remove it when you see the seedlings sprouting.

Put them in a sunny place now & the heat will help them germinate.

To germinate citrus seeds, you want to keep the soil moist & warm 70F or so. If you leave them in a cold damp soil they will probably mold & rot. Where are you located ?

Yes for best germination you need to keep the soil warm & moist. Try putting them on top of a cable tv converter or old crt monitor that produces heat.

The top of a refigerator is usually a warm place and take the plastic off as soon as most seeds have sprouted or they will get too hot in the plastic especially if in the sun. The sun or a light source as close as possible that can be adjusted up as necessary as the plants grow is great. You need to keep moist until they get bigger, then when larger you can water them too much so be careful when they get out of they baby stage or they will drown.

My son taught high school to American children and some Hungarian children too in Diosd very near Budapest. He and his wife miss your country a lot. They made a lot of friends there.

Good luck, if it was easy everybody would be doing it.... Many of the people in Diosd had lovely gardens in their yards at home. Very different customs in Hungary. My wife loves to put different wreaths on our front and back door during different seasons of the year but over in Hungary a wreath on the door usually means a death in the family. Not so happy time Sad

Hello Tom,
I am very pleased to hear such great feelings about Hungary,we are lacking them right now:)...Yeah in Hungary it's not so common to hang wreaths onto the door...but on the other hand I've never been to the U.S. , and I like your language, reading english book...Edgar Allan Poe mainly...

I put my lemon trees to a much warmer place... with heating and sunshine,I planted them on Saturday and I am expecting them to sprout...
