Being out of town this week I found a 1 Pound bag of these Mini key limes, They are about the size of a Calamondin

I gathered a couple dozen seeds from them, an plan to plant them when I get home.

I would be interested in any information that any member could offer on this type of friut Dale

Hi Dale. They are not mini, Key Limes are about the size of large Cal's. That is normal size.

I've grown these from seed, and they're rather quick growers really. I have several out in containers that I'll bring into a frost free cool area for winter. It's likely to be a coons age before they set flower though.

From what I've read, the juvenility period for limes is 1-2 years. I just started some seeds myself.

Junglekeeper is correct. Key Limes are amoung the fastest to bloom from seed, however, I think for Key Limes it is approximately 3-4 years. - Millet
