I just went down to the coldframe to check on things and discovered this, my Changsha mandarin fell from a shelf about 4' and snapped the top 2/3's off !!!
So watch yours to see if something similar could happen. It's a lousy feeling and I'd hate for you to feel like I do.

Sad thing...
If I had a dollar each time I've knocked things off the greenhouse table I'd own a small country..
I finally made the choice to think of it as self indulged pruning.. Look at it this way,, you have some bud wood now

Just had the remnants of a tropical storm push through my area in NC and the same thing just happened to a 8 year navel loaded with heavy fruit. such a heart breaking experience, I feel your pain.
