Should I pull this grass by hand or leave it? Does citrus compete well with St. Augistine grass? The grass is so invasive that I pull it and it grows back so fast. How do you prevent grass from growing near your citrus plants?

The the tree is well barked, I would spray Round Up - Millet (963-)

I have it all around my trees and have never had a problem. Sooner or later the tree will shade out the grass.

The San Augustine grass can absorb a lot of the nutrients and water. I agree with millet. Use round-up.
