Which one is more cold hardy ?

Please, post your opinion/experiance
and if possible any reference (to support your opinion) you know of.

I've grown both and had both freeze. I'd give the Meyer a fair degree more cold resistance than the Lisbon (or Eureka), but only a fair degree. IF the Meyer has hardened off before the big cold comes it does OK in North Florida. If there's been a lot of warm weather followed by a hard freeze then it's a goner.

Meyer is much more hardier than either Lisbon or Eureka for my area.

My Meyer is a rooted cutting. It has been in the ground now 7 years. We had a couple nights down to 17F a few years ago. The only damage it has ever had, was to new growth.

Lisbon, Harvey & Eureka all died quickly.

Ivica this is my Meyer. It has never been protected & produces hundreds of lemons every year. As I said it is a rooted cutting & planted in the ground about 7 years ago.

They root very easy & will often flower as soon as they root. Laughing

Laaz,

In the picture of the rooted cutting is that a watersprout? The stem looks triangular.

Is that a Sabal palm in the background?

Hi Charles. I cut the new growth off at the end of each season & root them over the winter.

Yes that is a Sabal Palmetto behind the citrus.
