Winter must be near, because for the last week many thousands of Sandhill Cranes have been passing over our farm flying south to Texas to spend the winter. One can see and even hear the large birds as the flocks pass by. It happens every year about this time. Fortunately I have never been hit by the free fertilizer dropping from the sky. - Millet 93

Speaking of fertilizer freebies, I just can't resist laughing each and every time again.
And here's why. Not a sandhill cranes related video, but still worth a look...

The Sandhill Cranes have all flown passed on south, but tonight Colorado is getting the first snow storm of the year.. I hope it snows and snows, and snows. I'll take all the snow I can get. - Millet 81
