Here is my 36 woodie just back from paint:

I have a Mexican friend who can't speak much english name Louis who I met as a fruit tree customer when I was selling citrus trees out of my back yard. He referred me to Jorge the car painter with 25 years of paint/body shop experience. Jorge works in a body shop and evenings and weekends he paints cars also. It was a gamble that payed off. I had a bid of $10,000 from a hot rod shop, the same one that put in the patch panels on the fenders. I delivered the woodie in black epoxy primer with minimal body work required. Jorge block sanded and painted the Bambalino Blue for $2,500. Very little bondo required.I provided paint and primer. Used Restoration Shop single stage paint from TCP. Couldn't be happier. I towed the woodie 110 miles there and back since I moved recently.

Wild 36 color isn't it? I love it and wanted by woodie to look like fun as well as be fun. I painted all the interior parts that usually are cordoba tan, blue as well. Next job is taking the top off to refinish the top wood and repair a spot of rot above the passenger door. Any ideas as to how to get the nailed on rain gutter off without destroying it?

He is going to paint my 28 Ford open cab pickup in March.

I had a cousin on my Fathers side that had somewhere between 30 to 45 completely restored old model A and T Fords, plus some other miscellaneous old restored cars. He also had a very old Hearse that he had completely restored to original mint condition. He planed to use it for his funeral. However, a year before he died from a brain tumor, he sold the entire collection to a Japanese consortium. The cars are presently in Japan. He also had a large barb wire collection, along with collections of pens, match book covers, yard sticks, and John Deere tractors. - Phil Robertson - good man.

I remember seeing a TV spot about an Australian's barb wire collection, quite interesting. Over the last few years I have done some work on environmental programs, including removal of old fencing. Some of the types of old barb wire are much meaner than newer types.

I love that color Mr T

glad to know another flathead owner. we got a bit of snow and pulled my 49' F1 out. Are you a member of the Early Ford V8 club?

I also realized I am a terrible photographer and cropped the top.

Merry Christmas All.

If you can see the nail head, take a very sharp small punch and center punch it lightly. Then use the approriate size drill bit to remove only the head.

Woody is beautiful!!!

Got the tailgate and rear bumper on today, tomorrow the windshield! I'm also taking off the rain gutters. I'm using a hack saw blade and it it working out just fine so far.

I've been busy moving a door in one bathroom on my brand new house. I didn't notice the problem until it was too late. I can see the end of the tunnel on new home projects finally and get back to the antique cars!
