I finally did my spring budding today. The unusually cool weather(global cooling I presume) this spring has delayed bark slipping for at least a month here. I tried two weeks ago and had no luck. This week was the first week of 80s with high humidity and nighttime temperatures above the high 50s. Great luck with everything but giant key lime from CCPP. Not one bud in about 25 lived. They died in a matter of days. I'll try again in the fall!.
