I am looking to buy a roll of parafilm tape. I can't seem to find it locally and all the sellers I found on eBay were in the UK. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Maybe one of you would have an extra roll around that you would be willing to sell to a noobee. Will pay for tape, shipping and paypal fees of course.

This company has pretty good prices. I have seen a lot of other suggestions on this forum, so you should be able to find others with a search for budding or grafting tape.

That's where I bought mine. 1/2" X 90 -- one roll goes a long way.

Well, it sounds like you feel something - and I'm not sure what that could be.
I'm perfectly happy buying goods from the USA, and see no reason why you should have any problem with buying from the UK.

No offense intended. My hesitation was getting a fresh roll of parafilm without having to pay extra for expiditied shipping from the UK.
I since found a supplier reasonably close who would ship at a price I was willing to pay.

Parafilm M can be bought from laboratory supply companies. Parafilm M has no UV resistance or strength but is nice for wrapping the exposed surface of the scion. Womack Nursery Co., DeLeon TX 76444 sells horticultural grade parafilm. A. M. Leonard sells buddy tape that is an excellent tape that is similar to parafilm, but in my opinion much better. |
